A few years ago, we sent our dog to K9 for board and train. We were very pleased with the results. So it was a “no brainer” that we send our two 1yo pups to K9 once again. We dropped off two unruly, energetic, out of our control, pups. We got back two well behaved, well trained and socially acceptable young dogs.
For me, the culmination was taking the most energetic of the two, and being able to garden in my UNFENCED yard, while watching her run and play off leash. She returned every single time for my command ‘come”. I am so proud of Jersey, and thrilled to be able to have her off leash and obedient. Thank you SO MUCH AVERY!! This is exactly what we wanted. I look forward to reporting more of our positive results.
One issue we had was Jersey being too energetic with little ones, in particular one granddaughter. I was so happy to see this one snuggled up on the couch with a gentle and calm Jersey!
In the future, I plan to start the training much earlier. It is pricey, but the results are life changing for this family! Read less

They did a good job. I didn't do as much homework with my dog towards the end of training as I should have. Life got incredibly chaotic. I'm glad I took my guy. I will never get him to pay attention to me like he did Chance, the trainer, but that's okay. He listens well, does great out and about, does even better in Public. My German Shepherd went with us on a week long road trip at just 9… Read more

He stayed in hotels with us, went on tours of abandoned buildings and towns with us, he even did a tour of the West Virginia Penitentiary with us and did SO WELL even with other dogs on the tour with us. Had I not taken him to OffLeash before our trip I'm certain he would not have been as well-behaved as he was! He was so much fun to travel with! We only did the 4-week training program but it was definitely worth the investment for us!

I can’t recommend this place more! We had the best experience with our trainer Avery! She excelled and exceeded our expectations! Our 9 month old golden retriever was very stubborn and not the best listener! He has been home a few days and is adjusting tremendously! This training is incredible and really works! You have to put in some work at home as well but the hard part has been done! Avery is wonderful, kind and very responsive. Copper loved… Read more

We have 2 GSP puppies, 8 months old, male&female siblings and litter mates!! We were struggling and feeling hopeless. We contacted Roger and set up the two week board and train. Avery was our trainer. She was an absolute gem to work with! She assessed the starting point of each pup and their personalities, our main concerns and needs for our family. She contacted us daily with text messages and videos of their progress. After the end of their training… Read more

She contacted us daily with text messages and videos of their progress. After the end of their training we were nervous new parents to bring the pups home. Avery provided us with the knowledge base, tools and hands on learning skills to continue their success at home. She was very patient and made sure we were comfortable before we walked out the door!
It has been about a month since training and without a doubt we can say it’s well worth the cost. I take my pups out every day, off leash with complete peace of mind of their recall. They are still puppies so they will still challenge us but they are confident, happy and well behaved.

Carissa did an amazing job working with our hyper puppy Evie. She is listening very well at home and we are no longer telling No at her all the time. She listens after 1 command. Would recommend this training service to everyone!
