I had a mixed experience with this dog training program. My dog did come home with some new skills, but overall the results didn’t match the cost, especially for the main issue I brought up—her behavior on walks—which was still a problem after she returned home. I had a mixed experience with this dog training program. My dog did come home with some new skills, but overall the results didn’t match the cost, especially for the main issue I brought up—her behavior on walks—which was still a problem after she returned home.
Communication and follow-up support were the biggest issues. While I understand the trainer had personal circumstances, responses were inconsistent and often required multiple messages. As a paying customer, it felt difficult to get consistent help after the program ended.
I did reach out to the owner for support and was later able to attend two follow-up classes with another trainer after driving over an hour, but my dog is still struggling with the same issues.
I also saw my original trainer in person after the program, and she clearly avoided interacting with me. On top of that, my dog came home with noticeable red marks around her neck from the collar, which was concerning.
Overall, there were some positives, but the lack of consistent communication, limited follow-up support, and unresolved behavior issues made this a disappointing experience. Read less

We have a rescue who was very reactive and loved chasing things, so any place with a squirrel or a bunny was a nightmare. He pulled like crazy on walks. We have a rescue who was very reactive and loved chasing things, so any place with a squirrel or a bunny was a nightmare. He pulled like crazy on walks. And as a 65 lb AmStaff, was difficult to control.
Then we used K9 and WOW. We take him off leash now in the woods, and he will be very sad about it, but will avoid going after the squirrels if we tell him to stay. It is truly been such a blessing.
And this was even though we missed two classes! (I don't suggest missing two classes haha). Even shortened was effective and absolutely worth the money. Our trainer was Cristen. I'm not sure if she's still there, but if she is I absolutely recommend her!!! Read less

Her trainer figured out in 2 days she needed some confidence building and it was incredible the results she achieved in such a short time period! The training that my dog received from start to finish was phenomenal! The trainer was a perfect fit. I was given daily updates, Photos, and videos. She reviewed each of the commands that she was teaching him with me beforehand. When I picked him up she demonstrated, and then let me practice before we went home. I highly recommend this company!

OLK9 has been a blessing for our family. Having two younger pups we wanted to have the flexibility and confidence to take them anywhere with us. We travel quite a bit and didn't want to worry about their behavior while out. We did the 4-week beginner class and the 4-week advanced class for both of our dogs.
