Alex was amazing to have as Scoobys trainer!! He was easily reachable, super understanding and gave report cards everyday. Any questions or concerns I had he answered right away. During the reunion with Scooby, he was super informative and made sure to answer any questions I had or concerns. You can tell he truly cares about the work he does and all the dogs he handles. He pushed Scoobys boundaries in a good way and respected when Scooby didn’t like something. I loved all the stories I heard about Scooby and can tell he enjoyed his time there immediately seeing him. We got to have our dogs trained with Alex and couldn’t possibly recommend him enough to anyone and everyone! We have two huskies that are about 5 years old that really struggled with separation from each other, bad manners and were at a point where it was becoming unmanageable with a new baby home. Alex from the first consultation call was knowledgeable, asked a ton of great questions that we didn’t initially consider and gave us the opportunity to voice our biggest pain points. The detail in his daily report cards had us at the edge of our seats with excitement in reading about what our dogs trained on that day (and the photos and videos especially)!
The whole time he had our dogs if we had questions he was responsive and helped us understand why certain behaviors may happen.
Turnover day was incredible! We got to ask all the questions under the sun and feel confident about reuniting with our dogs. We could not believe how significant the improvement was already in just 2 weeks!! Alex was very thorough and really helped guide us through new interactions, how to handle the dogs, how to refocus them, etc! We left feeling extremely confident that we could have a successful transition back home and incorporate their new skills into our life. Even more so, we feel well equipped to handle our dogs testing us and being ready for an unpredictable situation to come our way.
If you’re considering the training with Off Leash - DO IT! Alex was the absolute best and it was so sweet to watch our dogs give him some love before we headed home! Read less

My family and I are so thankful for the boarding and training provided by Laurie! Our 11 month old Wooly Siberian Husky is stubborn by nature, but after her training she is still lovable as always but with structure. I loved that I could send treats and her favorite toys with her. Nova felt right at home with Laurie. I really enjoyed getting the daily report cards with pictures and videos. It made me feel like I was with Nova… Read more

They took wvery good care of her as well as trained her well. I received daily updates that included instructions, videos, and pictures of how the day went. We used K9 Offleash for our dog, Kira. She was almost one year old, and needed some guidance on heel, come, overall door manners and protecting her treats (resource guarding). We met with Jacob in July earlier this year. He was so patient, listened to us to learn about Kira and so confident in his practice. We shared our concerns with Kira and met with him a few times before to learn basics for us to work on, and learn and gain comfort over the ecollar.
The drop off for the hybrid program was easy and Jacob was very communicative up until to make it easier on all. Throughout the time Kira was with Jacob, we got daily videos and report cards. Jacob also reached out via text and made sure she was taken care of, even got her special salmon treats (because she is picky!)! We loved seeing the progress that Kira was making day over day, especially with confidence. It was amazing to see her blossom! Pick up great - we met at an outdoor space and practiced all of what Kira learned in the prior two weeks. One of the biggest concerns we had with this program was “will this change her spunky little personality”?! We could not be more pleased, she is SO much happier, she is running around outside offleash, her weekends up north are leash free and she comes when we call her, we aren’t having to constantly correct her. She is happier than ever and trusts us more now than she has in the last year. Jacob and his training has not only changed our lives, he has changed Kira’s.
Jacob has been so helpful after the training with questions we had, suggestions and even came to our house to work through some additional training (mostly for the owners :)) after the hybrid program was complete.
