I would definitely recommend Off Leash K9 Training! I have a Cavapoo puppy (Lucy) we had for a couple months and was acting up so bad that I was having regrets, seriously wondering if we were going to have to find her another home. I saw an ad for K9 OffLeash and called. We signed up for the 2 week board and train. Patrick was our trainer. He sent a video every day! I could not believe Lucy was actually… Read more

I saw an ad for K9 OffLeash and called. We signed up for the 2 week board and train. Patrick was our trainer. He sent a video every day! I could not believe Lucy was actually responding to the commands!
Patrick brought her to our home at the end of 2 weeks and taught us the commands so that we can continue to work with her. She is so much calmer, does her commands, I am most impressed with the “place” command and she sits or lays there even if I walk away until I tell her she can get up. It’s like, is this even the same dog??!!!
Patrick did a wonderful job, you can tell he loves dogs!
I have no doubt that we did the right thing for Lucy and us! Read less

We took our 6-month-old hound mix, Mimi, to OLK9 Tyler for the two-week Board & Train program, and it was such a great experience! Mimi is sweet, smart, and—like most puppies—occasionally convinced that she is in charge of absolutely everything. I was nervous because I have NEVER used a trainer for my dogs. I heard from a friend of a friend that this was the way to go. Her trainer, Patrick, was wonderful from the beginning. He took the time… Read more
We took our 6-month-old hound mix, Mimi, to OLK9 Tyler for the two-week Board & Train program, and it was such a great experience!
He took the time to ask about Mimi (thank you), the things we were struggling with, and what we hoped she would learn during her stay. I really appreciated how organized and communicative he was, especially the daily updates. The progress videos were my favorite because they were fun to watch but also helped us understand what Mimi was learning and why.
When we picked her up, Patrick walked us through all of her new commands and made sure we knew how to continue working with her at home. I could immediately see a difference—not only was Mimi listening better, but she seemed more confident too.
Of course, she is still Mimi. No one performed a miracle and turned a six-month-old hound puppy into a tiny, furry robot. But she came home with better manners, more confidence, and skills we can actually continue using.
I would absolutely recommend the Board & Train program. Mimi learned a ton—and apparently, so did we! Read less

We cannot recommend Patrick and the team at Off Leash highly enough! Our 2 year old Labradoodle, Zeus, just completed a two-week board and train program, and the results have been absolutely incredible. We were a little nervous about sending Zeus away for two weeks, but Patrick made us feel completely at ease. Every night, we received detailed video clips and updates on Zeus’ progress. When it was time to pick Zeus up, Patrick spent nearly two hours with us, patiently demonstrating everything Zeus had learned and guiding us through practice sessions. He made sure we got to have hands-on practice of the commands ourselves so that we felt confident and prepared to maintain the training at home. Zeus came home happy, well-behaved, and a much better listener. Read less
