I met with Justin for an introductory lesson on scent/tracking training. Even though I had zero knowledge, Justin was patient and engaging, making sure my dog stayed focused and I understood how and why we were doing each step. At first I thought he was a bit intimidating- big bearded veteran tough guy- but he is extremely personable. He even sent me some book recommendations to understand my dog better. I ended up doing basic obedience (which were still working on). I think know when we are finished my dogs manners will be in check. My dog seems to listen better to Justin than me because he really gets dogs, understands, and communicates with them easily. I also had the pleasure of meeting but not working with another trainer with the company, Alex, who seemed kind and knowledgeable as well. Justin is definitely a dog know it all but you could never tell because he is so approachable and friendly. These guys would do anything to make sure their clients are happy and their dog has whatever needs met to achieve their goals/ desired outcome whatever that may be for a particular client. I highly recommend them for any training or behavior issues and will continue to send family or friends with a new pet to them. They’re just THE BEST. Truly. Read less

Thanks to Justin, our lives have genuinely been changed and this has been the best investment we probably could have ever done for our dog, Dasher. If your dog needs training on any level at any age I believe Off Leash K9 Training Houston is the place! Behavioral correction was mostly what I needed with my 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks and in a two week on board (14 days) they did some great ground work. Any time I need a redirect they guarantee they'll have my back in the training necessary for keeping my dogs on track making good family members in my home. I'm so glad… Read more

While Daphne needed to better pay attention and calm her energy enough to learn respect of personal space, Apollo needed to build confidence out in public and overcome anxiety issues. Amanda worked with Daphne and made incredible progress. Alex has a different approach with a quiet soft nature understanding Apollo's needs and really built him up in a short amount of time. We dropped off our dog for two week board and train while we were on vacation. Shout out to the trainer Desi for sending us plenty of photos, videos and daily updates on his progress. We felt reassured that he is doing well. I love that they do the board and train and is staying at trainers house rather than crated somewhere all day and only allowed out for a few hours per day. Our dog seemed very happy and… Read more
