We put our dog into the two week board and train program and had the best experience! Our dog was reactive anytime we were in public. He would do well with commands indoors but all training would go out the window the moment we stepped outside. He would do well with commands indoors but all training would go out the window the moment we stepped outside. Recently we also had an incident where he got loose and ran onto the highway trying to chase cars which is what really prompted us to find a training program. Breanna was our dog’s trainer and she was absolutely amazing! She touched base with us daily, providing us with videos of his progress along with pictures of their adventures throughout the day. Our dog is now 100x better trained than when we dropped him off. By the end of the first week with Breanna, he was able to go into bass pro on one of the busiest weeks of the year and pay little to no attention to the distractions around him. Previously we couldn’t even go to a park that had other people in it because he would bark and lunge at anyone and everyone. Now he’s able to walk off leash with complete attention to whoever is giving commands, and he can stay in one place until told otherwise, among many other commands. The progress Breanna was able to make with him in such little time was truly so impressive. I never imagined we’d be able to take our dog out in public without feeling embarrassed by his behavior, but now I feel confident taking him anywhere. Thanks to Breanna at OffLeash K9, I no longer have to worry about my dog’s safety or behavior when we go outside. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about both Breanna and OffLeash K9. Their communication before, during, and after we're fantastic. We got daily updates with photos and a video. However, the results really make the deal. Henry came home in a great state of mind, focused, and confident. His ability to sit, down, come, place, and heel is dialed in.
Some folks might be hesitant about training an older dog, but even at 8 years old it was a great investment. During his training Henry required medicine and even a vet-directed medicine change which Breanna handled so smoothly. She trained Henry well, but also loved on him while he was away from home.
