We enrolled our 5-month-old Red Heeler (Red Dog) in the 2-week board and train program, and the results exceeded our expectations. Rick took all that puppy energy and transformed it into a focused, confident little guy. Red now handles every situation with confidence.
His training is outstanding—his leash heel is perfect, he walks beautifully on a loose leash, and his off-leash recall is spot on. His “place” command and ability to hold it are impressive, and his door manners and kennel command are consistent every time.
Rick also does a fantastic job with socialization. He incorporates field trips, exposure to other dogs, and training sessions with both children and adults in busy, chaotic environments like playgrounds and Lowe’s. That real-world experience made a huge difference.
We’re so glad we chose Off Leash. Red is now a confident, well-behaved companion, and we feel completely confident bringing him into social settings. We take Red and our 4-year-old Blue Heeler, Luke, everywhere with us. They’re both great with people and other dogs, and Red has become the perfect companion for our lovable goofball, Luke.
They’re best buddies—and since we’ve had Red from 8 weeks old, there’s never a dull moment!

Throughout the process she was communicative, professional, and attentive to Sadie’s needs. I could tell Sadie wasn’t just being trained — she was truly being cared for. For example, Sadie was being a picky eater at first from being away from home, so Darian went out and bought food toppers and other things to help get her to eat better. When we offered to reimburse her, she wouldn’t accept it. That really showed her caring heart and how much she loves what she does.
If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your dog while also helping them build better behavior and structure, I highly recommend Darian. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and that makes all the difference. Read less

I took my first Doodle at 5 months to train on a weekly basis and he did great. My second Doodle was a board and train at 3 months and did terrific. Darian trained both and we love her. At 5 months my second Doodle will go back for advanced training. We love this place

We brought in our 18 month old golden doodle for the two week board and train with Rick! We were nervous at first but the transformation is amazing!! Our pup went from jumping, play biting, using selective hearing, and not having great door manners to listening and wanting to please at every step. She has learned on/off leash heel, come, place, break, door manners, patience and most importantly didn’t loose her playful personality. It’s makes her life and ours more… Read more
